Bikini Body Before and After - waist training results -

Before waist training:   26.5" waist                                                   After waist training:  24" waist

Hello everyone!

The first picture was taken last summer, a few months before I began waist training.

I did not consider myself fat back then, but I knew my waist to hip ratio was not as notorious as I'd like,  I felt I was lacking curve on the hips and that there was no way to change that.I know most girls just want to be slimmer, but that is not exactly what I wanted. I always wanted to be curvier,  I had good proportions before and had no problems with my top or bottom, it was the middle section that I did not like so much.

Dieting or going to the gym were not going to make a big difference, because when I lose weight I tend to get even less curvy on the hips and my waist would look the same since I do not carrying much fat there anyway.

When I started reading about waist training I knew this was what I was looking for, I saw all of Lucy's videos, I read all I could on the internet (the Lingery addict, OCC blog ,Romantacy web page, Stay lace, etc) I saw all of the youtube videos I could find about corsets, and I followed another girl that started her journey almost at the same time as me  (souljagurlsha).

I got addicted to the information and spent hours reading about corsets, then I joined Facebook pages like the tightlacing society and corsets on sale.

I believe doing research keeps you motivated, so I hope my results will give some inspiration to those who are starting this journey

feel free to share this post.

Good luck!

Hi Mo, I know exactly what you mean....that very first sentence I can totally relate to (" I did not consider myself fat back then, but I knew my waist to hip ratio was not as notorious as I'd like, I felt I was lacking curve on the hips and that there was no way to change that") That is how I felt too and I wasn't looking to lose weight...I just wanted better back support for my horrible back issues plus the awesome side effect of obtaining a more hourglass look. Thanks for the post....love your blog!

Hi Lisa!
I am glad that you like my blog :) Are you waist training or do you wear your corset for back support only?
I like meeting people with the same body type, because it's not always easy to explain.
I was trying to made very clear that I did not waist train in order to look slimmer, Many people assume that we are all trying to loose weight, but there's so much more about corsets,
as you mentioned they give awesome back support, which is one of the main reasons I wear them, and they can "mold" ones body so it appears curvier.
I feel so much more feminine thanks to the corset, I used to look like a rectangle instead of an hourglass, but now I get many compliments on my waist, so I feel like other people can notice the difference too.

Thanks for you comment

Hello,

Yes, at the beggining I was eating normally, but innadvertedly I started to change my eating habits as is explained in another post, Two years ago I became a vegetarian :D which has nothing to do with corset training but maybe was a result of me trying to have better habits.
